Almudio.

In my final year of an Electronic Music Production degree, I researched Steve Reich's Pendulum Music (1968). Reich hung a microphone over speakers and let the feedback fade with each swing.

I flipped it: binaural head in the centre of the room, speakers arranged around it, the listener's movement through space became the piece. It took me a year to design, build, and run.

Then I asked one question:

“How many niche ideas like this get pushed aside because they're too specific, or because they don't generate as much money as a generic plugin?”

I wanted to challenge myself. Could I give other creative and experimental minds the ability to make what I made, with just a few clicks, a hypnotic interface, and everything in the box?

That question is how 3D Panner started, and what led me to build Almudio.
